What will be in my food box?Winter Greens CSA: Each week a selection of greens will fill your box. Here is what you can expect in your weekly box: 4 bags of salad greens 3 varieties of microgreens Summer CSA: Each week, a selection of seasonal garden vegetables and herbs will be selected to fill your box. Here is what you can expect to appear in your basket during each growing season: Spring: Early to End of June approximately Fresh lettuce varieties, arugula, turnips, radishes, spinach, bok choi, peas, kale, chard, and seasonal herbs. Summer: End of June to Mid-September approximately Lettuce, cucumber varieties, tomato varieties, kale, chard, zucchini, beans, potatoes, beets, carrots, green onions, bell pepper, egg plant, and seasonal herbs. Potatoes, winter squash, cabbage, pumpkin, kale, chard, spinach, beets, leeks, onions, and carrots. Varieties will vary from week to week depending on what is ready for harvest in the garden. The summer CSA partners with a secondary farm, Kia Mana Acres, to provide one dozen eggs per CSA share each week.

What if I will be away?If you are planning to be away, there are a few options: Let us know in advance, and arrange for a friend to receive your deliveries while you are away. Let us know in advance, and we can donate your weekly produce to a local food bank.

What if there is a crop faliure?We will do our best to ensure each week includes a wonderful selection of produce. However, in the event of a crop loss, we will inform you as soon as possible and reimburse you for the amount impacting your subscription.

What if I cannot continue with the CSA?We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise impacting the continuation of a CSA season. All sales of the CSA are final. In the event you are unable to continue receiving your CSA, we encourage you to find a friend or neighbour who may wish to receive the remainder of your deliveries. We can also donate the remaining deliveries to a local food bank on your behalf.
